Boy killed by crocodile in Nsama

—–A 16 year old boy of Kakoma village in Nsama district has died after being attacked by a crocodile.

 

Nsama District Commissioner, Panji Chilingala, has confirmed the incident to ZANIS in Nsama today.

Mr Kakoma identified the deceased as Milner Bwalya, a grade nine pupil at Kakoma Primary School.

 

He said the accident happened on Friday when Bwalya, who was in the company of three others, went swimming in Mwembeshi River where he met his fate.

 

Mr Chilingala said the deceased was among the pupils who were supposed to sit for grade nine exams in the area.

 

Meanwhile, the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) has started the search for the crocodile in the river.
