—–The Mwata Kazembe of the Lunda people of Mwansabombwe district in Luapula Province says he received the news of the death of Republican President, Michael Sata, with shock.

The Mwata says the country has lost a gallant man who fought so hard for his people regardless of their standing in society.

ZANIS reports that the Mwata, who described the late President as a humble and dedicated person, said this in an interview in Mwansabombwe.

The Mwata said he has personal memories with late President Sata, adding that his work culture was exceptional in whatever area he worked.

He said even when he left MMD to form the Patriotic Front (PF) party he was one of those who supported him heavily despite
rumours that he was anti PF.

The traditional leader said President Sata was his confidant and mentor and cited him and late second Republican President, Fredrick Chiluba as his
heroes.

He said it will be hard to find such a leader with his lifestyle and dedication to his country but said the Lord will give the country a
leader who will be committed to save the nation.

He said the best way to remember the President is for the country to remain united and peaceful as the country is known for its peace as
evident in the One Zambia One Nation.

The Mwata has since called on people to accept the new President who will be elected regardless of his political affiliation.
