Nakonde to hold farewell Prayers for Sata
Nakonde, November 6, 2014,ZANIS…..Nakonde district will on Monday 10th November hold inter-denomination prayers in honor of for the Late Republican President Michael Sata.
Nakonde District Commissioner James Singoyi said this in an interview with the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Nakonde today.
Mr Singoyi said the prayers will be conducted by the Pastor’s fellowship in honour of the late President.
The DC is however appealing to the general public, Heads of Government departments, political parties, parastatals and non -governmental Organisations to turn out in numbers and Pray for the Soul of the late President who will be buried on November 11, 2014 at the Presidential burial site at Embassy Park in Lusaka.
Mr Singoyi said the prayers will commence at 14:00 hours on Monday 10th of November at Mweetwa hall.
Meanwhile, Muchinga province Bread of Life Church international Overseer Pastor Samson Thole has said this was the time to hold hands together and be united as Zambians.
Pastor Thole said Zambia should show Africa and the world at large that it was a peaceful nation.
He said Nakonde Bread of Life Church was grateful to the late President Sata for dividing Northern Province to create a new Province , Muchinga.
Pastor Thole said the creation of Muchinga province had created Jobs for the local people including himself as he was appointed as Provincial overseer for Bread of Life Church International.
