—-Government has opened a Presidential Funeral Holding Account at the Bank of Zambia and Presidential Funeral Transit Accounts in ten Commercial Banks for individuals wishing to make financial contributions towards late President Michael Sata’s funeral.
Secretary to the Cabinet, Roland Msiska, said this is in response to requests from persons and organisations who wish to make financial contributions towards the Presidential funeral in recognition of the positive impact the late President had on their lives and wellbeing.
Dr Msiska said well-wishers may deposit their financial contributions from their locations and towns in any of the designated Presidential Funeral Transit Accounts held at ZANACO, Indo Zambia Bank, Investrust Bank PLC, First National Bank, ECO Bank, Cavmont Bank, Stanbic Bank, Barclays Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Finance Bank.
The Secretary to the Cabinet said financial contributions towards the funeral can be deposited in account number 1219234300778 for ZANACO, 0010049920018 for Indo Zambia Bank, 170110250012015 for Investrust Bank PLC and 62502809372 for First National Bank.
Others are 0010137503470301 for ECO Bank, 0800000257100 for Cavmont Bank and 01400758827 for Stanbic Bank Zambia.
The rest are 161554219 for Barclays Bank, 0100113518803 for Standard Chartered Bank and 0015956200004 for Finance Bank.
