The 2014 Zambia squash open that was scheduled to start on October 30, 2014 has been moved to November 20, 2014.
Zambia Squash Association (ZSA) president Norena Chiteba said the postponement is due to a clash in dates with another open tournament being hosted by Malawi.
Chiteba has told ZANIS Sports in a statement issued in Lusaka today that the Squash Federation of Africa had approved the dates for the Malawi open a week apart with Zambia.
She said the Malawi open is one tournament that has high participation from Zambian players hence the need to also have Malawi participate in the Zambia open.
