THE 25-year-old Kitwe woman who was quarantined for suspected Ebola has been discharged from the isolation centre at Garnetone Clinic.
The woman, who was quarantined last Monday when she presented with coughing, sneezing and vomiting, was discharged after samples tested negative for Ebola.

Copperbelt medical officer Consity Mwale confirmed the development. Dr Mwale said the woman was discharged yesterday in the morning following remarkable improvement in her condition.
Dr Mwale said in an interview that the woman was however continuing with medication from her home.
“Everything is okay and there is no need for the public to panic because Government has put in necessary measures to ensure there is no Ebola outbreak in the country,” he said.
