Court bailiffs this afternoon raided Times of Zambia head office in Ndola grabbing company property.

Sources have told Qfm news that the bailiffs arrived at the company premises at around 16:00 hours with a court order.

It is believed that two former drivers of the company who are on early retirement sought the intervention of court bailiffs in an attempt to get their retirement dues.

Sources say the bailiffs have since gone away with company chairs and fridges from all departments leaving all workers with nowhere to sit.

The sources say computers have been spared after management managed negotiate with the bailiffs.

The Times of Zambia is facing a serious financial crisis which has seen workers go without salaries for months.
