Youth and Sport Minister, Chishimba Kambwili has denied eying the presidency.

Reacting to today’s article in the Post newspapers suggesting that he is campaigning and positioning himself to succeed President Michael Sata, Mr. Kambwili has accused the Post Newspapers of having a negative agenda against him.

The outspoken Minister has told QFM News that he will no waste much of his time to responding to what he has described as nonsense.

Mr. Kambwili says President Sata has never at anytime said that he has presidential ambitions as reported in the Post newspapers.

The Roan Member of Parliament states that he is very comfortable with his current Cabinet portfolio and will rally behind President Michael Sata to grow the party to greater heights.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kambwili says he is ready to give evidence to the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on allegations of corruption against former Justice Minister and Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba.

Mr. Kambwili says he will willingly provide the ACC with the evidence if requested to do so.
