Two people have died on the spot while two others are battling for their lives in Chongwe District Hospital following a fatal road accident along the Great East Road.
The accident comes barely less than a week after three people died on the spot in Chongwe District.
The accident happened after a Toyota Altezza overturned and instantly killing the driver and a passenger on the spot and injuring the other two passengers.
Chongwe District Hospital Medical Officer-In-Charge Job Mwanza confirmed the accident to ZANIS today.
Dr Mwanza identified the deceased as Mr Mulenga Mwewa, driver of the vehicle while the identity of other is yet to be established.
He said the other two whom he identified as Emmanuel and Lungowe are currently admitted for observation after sustaining minor injuries.
Dr Mwanza explained that all the four victims came from Lusaka to visit Chongwe and on their way back were involved in an accident.
