Workers at Spar Arcades Branch this morning staged a protest over poor salaries and a poor management system.

A QFM News Crew that rushed to Arcades found workers chanting anti management slogans and demanded to be addressed by management over poor salaries and health schemes.

The workers have told QFM News that they have information that management wants to terminate some contracts of workers and bring those who were dismissed at Game Stores to take their positions.

They have accused their Chief Executive Officer of getting close to K100,000 per month while the least paid worker gets about K800 per month.

They have further alleged that most of the people holding managerial positions at the store are related to the CEO who is South African.

The workers have also disclosed that most of the Zambians who were holding managerial positions at the store have been fired in order to accommodate the South Africa.

The workers have since appealed to government to intervene in their plight.
