Buoyed by their emphatic 3-1 win over Niger, early Group F leaders, Cape Verde’s Blue Sharks have set their eyes on collecting maximum points against Chipolopolo as they host Zambia at their brand new National Stadium – the first international match to be played at the Atlantic Ocean archipelago’s new football arena.

The Cape Verde FA has announced that Wednesday’s match will kick-off at 16:00 local time (19:00 Zambian Time) at the new arena which was inaugurated on 23rd August 2014.

According to Zambian Football KICKOFF.com,  Zambia goes into the match against Cape Verde under extreme pressure to collect maximum points to avoid the potential pitfall of dangerously falling off the qualifying race.

A loss for Chipolopolo would leave Honour Janza’s men six points behind the group leaders and in need of winning the last four matches to stand what would become a highly mathematical chance of reaching Morocco 2015.
