Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) President Edith Nawakwi says former Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has left no legacy because he failed to provide guidance on the enactment of the people driven constitution.
Ms Nawakwi has told Qfm News in an interview that Mr. Kabimba paid completely no attention to what his legacy could be after leaving office.
Ms. Nawakwi says the country has been struggling to have a new constitution and that Mr. Kabimba will forever be associated with failing to deliver a people driven constitution to the Zambian people.
She stresses that it is pointless for the country to continue talking about having a people driven constitution fifty years after independence.
The FDD leader has also stated that Mr. Kabimba’s dismissal should be a lesson to other ministers who think that their offices are there to show how educated they are and how little knowledge the people on the streets have.
Ms Nawakwi has since appealed to the newly appointed Justice Minister Edgar Lungu to always remember that people want peace and unity by having a people driven constitution.
