Fans urge Chipolopolos to win tomorrow’s game against Sudan

Lusaka, August, 30th, 2014,  ZANIS—Soccer fans have urged the Chipolopolos to vie for an outright win as they face Sudan tomorrow in an international friendly match at the New Heroes stadium in Lusaka.

Zambia Sports Fans Association (ZSFA) President  Peter Makembo says beating Sudan is the only way the team can thank government for constructing the New Heroes Stadium.

Makembo  told ZANIS sports in an interview in Lusaka today that losing the first game at the New Heroes stadium will be disaster.

He for this reason urged the Chipolopolos to beat Sudan and give local coach Honor Janza the much needed confidence.

He has urged the technical bench and the players to ensure that they supplement government efforts in its quest to provide quality football stadiums in the country.

Makembo further urged the tam not to be complacent but remain focus and aim at collecting maximum results considering the massive crowds ahead of them at the match.

The Chipolopolos today take on Sudan at the New Heroes Stadium in Lusaka an international friendly match.
