Patriotic Front (PF) Mufumbwe Member of Parliament Stephen Masumba and Former Livingstone PF Political Secretary Brian Hapunda have been advised to stop their seemly new adopted culture of firing gun shots in public.
Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Lubwa ward Youth Chairperson Chisankama Mudenda says it is childish for Mr. Masumba and Mr. Hapunda to continue firing gun shots in public especially during the time of elections.

Mr. Mudenda says such behavior should be condemned because not only does it intimidate electorates but also opposition political parties.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mudenda has challenged Labour and Social Security Minister Fackson Shamenda to declare all civil servants as politicians if District Commissioners will continue engaging in politics as was allegedly witnessed in the August 19th Mangango Parliamentary by-election.

He says by so doing the Minster of Labour would have freed all civil servants to vote and campaign freely for the parties they desire.
