The President’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations George Chellah has described as comedy opposition APC President Nason Msoni’s 26 days ultimatum issued to President Michael Sata.

On Wednesday this week, Mr. Msoni is reported to have issued an ultimatum, whose deadline is the 15th of September, in which his party expects President Sata to make his position known to the nation if he is still capable of governing the country and that if the President is not able to govern, he should, on 15th September this year, outline a timetable of how he is to vacate the presidency.

But Mr. Chellah says Mr. Msoni’s ultimatum is laughable.

Mr. Chellah has told Qfm news in an interview that he thinks that Mr. Msoni is only trying to offer a humorous moment that should not be taken seriously.

He says this is why he also maintains that Mr. Msoni as opposition leader does not deserve to be responded to as he does not seem to be a person who takes his own views seriously.

The President’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations notes that anyone who would look in Mr. Msoni’s eyes when he is talking can also tell that the opposition leaders lacks seriously in the things he says.
