CUCSA games to kick off next Monday
Lusaka, August 15TH, 2014, ZANIS–The Confederation of Universities and Colleges Sporting Association (CUCSA) games will kick off on Monday the 18th August in Lusaka.
ZANIS sports reports that 14 countries are expected to participate in this year’s CUCSA games which Zambia will host.
By July this year, the Zambia Federation of University and College Sport (ZAFUCS) had not raised the total required K1.5 million for the successful hosting of the games.
When contacted for a comment ZAFUCS President Mwape Nshimbi said he was in a meeting with would be sponsors of the tournament.
The CUCSA games will run from 16- 23 of August, 2014with teams competing in various sports disciplines such as Football, Basketball, Netball, Chess, Badminton and Athletics.
This is the second time that Zambia is hosting the bi-annual CUCSA games which it last hosted in 1999.
