The Lusaka High Court has reserved ruling in a case in  which Kasama Central PF Member of Parliament  GEOFFREY MWAMBA is contesting his suspension from the Patriotic Front.

MR. MWAMBA has applied for an injunction to restrain the PF from expelling him from the party after the PF Northern Province committee suspended him.

High Court Judge NICOLE PHIRI on Thursday reserved ruling to a later date on  whether Mr. MWAMBA should be granted an injunction on not.

However,  the Patriotic Front Central Committee has denied having suspended Mr. MWAMBA.

The Committee says the party’s constitution and code of conduct was not followed when the alleged suspension was mated on the KASAMA law maker.

In responding to the injunction PF Secretary General WYNTER KABIMBA stated that Mr. MWAMBA did not exhaust the normal administrative procedures by not appealing to or appearing before the disciplinary committee of the party’s central committee.

Mr. KABIMBA states that the disciplinary committee of the party’s central committee would have submitted its recommendations to the central committee for final determination.

Mr. MWAMBA has applied for an injunction to restrain the PF from suspending and expelling him from the party.
