Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) President Nevers Mumba has appealed to political parties participating in the Mangango parliamentary by-elections to be tolerant towards each other as they campaign.
Dr. Mumba has told Qfm News in an interview that he is saddened with reports of violence emanating from Mangango ahead of the 19th August by-elections.
Dr. Mumba says there is need for political parties to give the people the best of their time during the campaigns instead of resorting to violence.
He states that Zambia is peaceful country with peace loving people who do not take pride in violence.
Dr Mumba says this is the more reason politicians have the responsibility to show love towards each other regardless of the political parties they represent.
