The Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) says it will continue to work with government in creating and promoting a competitive business environment in the country.
ZACCI President Geoffrey Sakulanda said that a well-functioning chamber movement plays an important role in driving the country’s economy and creating the much needed wealth for the majority of Zambians.
Mr. Sakulanda reiterated ZACCI’S commitment to creating a strong and vibrant chamber system which will help the country achieve notable results in all sectors of the economy.
ZANIS reports that Mr. Sakulanda said this in Lusaka today when he officially opened the First ZACCI National Chamber Conference.
Mr. Sakulanda expressed hope that the conference will help build internal capacities of its members and further enhance communication among local chambers.
He noted that collaborative efforts from both the public and private sector are cardinal in developing and strengthening the local chamber system.
