—The Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia (ACSZ) says 17 different foreign exhibitors are set to exhibit during this year’s 88th Zambia Agricultural and commercial show.
ACSZ President, Murray Anderson, said the society has ensured that the exhibitors have good facilities so as to offer quality services to the public.
Exhibitors at the commercial show have over the years included companies from countries among them Botswana, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya, Sweden, Mozambique and South Africa.
Mr Anderson noted that this year’s Agricultural and Commercial Show will have an increased number of livestock.
He said the commercial show will serve as an opportunity to encourage small scale farmers to increase their productivity.
Meanwhile, Mr Anderson told ZANIS that the Vice President, Dr Guy Scott, is scheduled to officially open this year’s Agricultural and Commercial Show on Saturday August 2, 2014.
This year’s 88th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show will be commemorated under the theme: 2014, Breaking New Ground.
The Zambia Agricultural and commercial show is said to be Zambia’s mirror reflecting the nation’s economic growth and its potential to the outside world.
It is known to offer the true position of Zambia’s vast opportunities to many would-be investors and entrepreneurs in the country and internationally.
