Vice President Guy Scott says Republican President Michael Chilufya Sata is well and enjoying good Health.

Dr. Scott was reacting to concerns raised by Senior Chief Amukena the second of the Lozi speaking people of Kaoma District in Western Province following continued speculations that the Head of State is unwell.

Dr. Scott said people should not pay attention to what he termed as fabricated stories from malicious people.

He told Chief Amukena that government has so many priorities aimed at developing the Nation.

Dr Scott says while the PF government has only been in government for two and half years, it has made tremendous strides as evident from the many developmental projects being worked on across the Country.

He further states that the PF government wants to ensure that it talks Less, but instead concentrate on taking development as closer as possible to the people.

Speaking earlier,Senior Chief Amukena the second commended government for the two major developmental projects in the district which have benefited the Royal establishment.

He cited the completion of the communication tower by the Information and Communication Technology Authority (ZICTA) for having made tremendous improvement to Communication system in the area, which has enabled people to access internet and all mobile phone networks.

Meanwhile, Chief Mwene-Mutondo of the Nkoya speaking people in Kaoma District says despite having a few challenges in his Chiefdom, his Royal Establishment will continue to support the Patriotic Front government.

He said his desire is to see the PF win the Mangango parliamentary by-election.

And PF Mangango Parliamentary candidate Rodgers Lyambai Lingoshe has appealed to the people of Kaoma to help him win the seat so that all the challenges they are facing can be addressed.

Mr. Lingoshe was speaking this afternoon at Mutondo Primary School in when the Vice President addressed a rally to drum up support for him ahead of the Mangango by-election slated for 19th August, 2014.
