Patriotic Front (PF) national chairperson Inonge Wina says the future of the ruling PF is too strong to be a one term government.

In an apparent reaction to the recent repeated statement by United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema that the PF will only serve in government for one term, Ms. Wina has charged that the PF will continue in government beyond 2016 whether the opposition likes it or not.

Ms. Wina has told Qfm news in an interview that she is of the view that the opposition is only trying to dramatize things by stating that the PF government is not working and therefore should only be allowed to serve only a term.

Ms. Wina, who is also Gender Minister, has however argued that the PF government is to the contrary actually working hard to improve the lives of Zambians.

She says this is why she holds the position that for the opposition to try to pick out issues which they consider contentious, which she also says can be resolved through dialogue, cannot be used as a basis of estimating the life span of the ruling PF in government.

The PF national chairperson says what Zambians only need to do in this case is to consider dialogue on issues that divide the nation and reach a consensus.

She has maintained that as far as she is concerned she does not see any problem for the ruling PF remaining in power even after 2016.
