A four days old baby has gone missing at the country’s highest health institution, University Teaching Hospital-UTH.

And the parents to the baby that went missing early this week have since demanded for an explanation from the hospital management.
Police in Lusaka have instituted investigations into the matter.
Meanwhile, the development has angered a cross section of residents.

The concerned residents talked to by our Lusaka correspondents, alleged that negligence by some mid-wives at the hospital is what is bringing about cases of babies going missing.

They have since called on government to cross-examine the nurse who was on duty at the time the baby went missing.
