Germany donates baby food to Christian alliance for children

The German government has donated baby food worth K67, 000 and two washing machines to Christian Alliance for Children in Zambia (CACZ).

Presenting the donation Reverend Ulli Irion from Germany said he is impressed with the work CACZ is doing in caring for the vulnerable and orphaned children in society.

And receiving the donation CACZ Executive Director David Katambalile said he is happy with the gesture.

And CACZ Board Chairperson Fidelis Chisenga said he was thankful that there are people out there who are helping to look after children who are the future leaders.

The baby food which is in the form of baby puree is for children aged between 0 to two years.

The center which is also known as the House of Moses cares for babies aged between 0 to 2 years and is currently caring for 20 babies.

Some of the baby food will be donated to various clinics in Lusaka.
