Zambia’s Tennis Ace Choolwe inspired for more after Gaborone All Africa Youth Games

Lusaka, June 15, ZANIS—Junior Chess National Champion Choolwe Hamalambo has described the recently ended All Africa Youth Games (AYG) championship held in Gaborone , Botswana last month as inspiring.

Hamalambo says the continental tournament was an eye opener for further competitive games in his tennis table career.

ZANIS sports reports that Hamalombe said this in an interview in Lusaka, today.

The Junior National Champion finished 11th out of the 54 Table tennis players that participated at the All Africa Youth Games Championship.

Botswana hosted the 2014 All Africa youth games which ran from May 22nd to May 31.

Meanwhile, Hamalambo has been invited by the Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) for the table tennis tournament to be held in Gaborone Botswana on the 28th of June 2014.

Hamalambo said he has since started training ahead of the upcoming tournament saying that he was looking forward to put the Zambian flag high.
