Former Patriotic Front (PF) Lusaka District vice secretary Benjamin Siwila says he considers his expulsion from the PF by party Secretary General Wynter Kabimba as null and void.

In the expulsion letter dated June 5, 2014 addressed to Mr. Siwila and made available to Qfm news Saturday afternoon, Mr. Kabimba says Mr. Kabimba says the former PF Lusaka District vice secretary has been expelled for gross misconduct following a meeting that was recently held at State House.

But Mr. Siwila says going by the party constitution the PF Secretary General cannot write a letter to expel an ordinary member of party.

He says this is why even what has been written in today’s Saturday edition of the Post newspaper that President Michael Sata has expelled him from the party cannot be true as President Sata, who also PF president cannot expel an ordinary member like him.

Mr. Siwila says he will continue being a member of the PF and will continue being loyal to President Sata as both the republican president and PF leader.
