First Lady Christin Kaseba has challenged the private sector to use the numerous opportunities in health-care system to support government efforts in alleviating the suffering of the people.
Dr. Kaseba notes that government is doing a lot to improve the medical care services, especially for persons with cancers, but cannot achieve much because cancer-care is very expensive.
She said this in Lusaka when she handed over the Luminar Flow Cabinet donated by Access Bank Zambia Limited to the University Teaching Hospital pediatric cancer department.
Access Bank Zambia Limited Board Chairman Caleb Mulenga says his Bank is committed to working with government to better the lives of children.
And UTH Managing Director, Lackson Kasoka has thanked the Bank for the donation, saying the equipment will bring a difference in the way medical personnel look after children afflicted with cancer.
