The opposition Alliance for Better Zambia has challenged Civil Rights Activist Kelvin Mutale Sampa to name places and institutions in other parts of the country where he has made donations as he has done in Kasama.

In a telephone interview from Lusaka, ABZ president Frank Bwalya challenged Mr Sampa to tell the public where else he had made numerous donations.

Father Bwalya has however urged Mr Sampa to continue donating to the needy.

And when contacted, Civil Rights Activist Kelvin Mutale Sampa described Father Bwalya’s remarks as unfortunate.

Mr Sampa said it was unbelievable that he was being questioned over his charity work adding that there is no law which restricts anyone from making donations.

Mr Sampa who hails from Kasama’s Henry Kapata village but currently based in Lusaka has been visiting Kasama with a view to help the vulnerable under a motto ‘Together we can build a better Kasama’.

  1. Nothing should stop Mr Sampa taking favors to an area he hails from why should he be benevolent to all parts of the country when all areas have their own sons and daughters to follow what Mr Sampa is doing! Leave him alone at least he has a heart for his people!
