14 aspiring MMD candidates interetsed in Kasama central by election

The opposition MMD in Northern Province says it has received an overwhelming response of people wishing to contest the looming Kasama central by election on its party ticket.

Provincial MMD Information and Publicity Secretary Cephas Bwalya disclosed to mano news yesterday that so far 14 aspiring candidates have expressed interest to contest the seat once declared vacant.

Last week, MMD-Provincial Information and Publicity Secretary Cephas Bwalya called on members of the public to apply for adaptation in the pending Kasama Central By elections, stating that campaigns have started as demonstrated by the PF.
