NJEULU asks Lusaka High Court to void his expulsion from the UPND

Sinjembela Member of Parliament PONISO NJEULU has asked the Lusaka High Court to declare his purported expulsion from the UPND null and void. Mr. NJEULU has further asked for an injunctions to prevent the UPND from communicating to the speaker of the National Assembly with the view to declare his seat vacant. He says the UPND National Management Committee did not give him chance to answer the accusations raised against him.Mr. NJEULU says the party’s decision to accuse him of wrong doing was because of his decision to accept President MICHEAL SATA’s appointment as Deputy Minister.He said he will demonstrate during trail that the purported expulsion from the party is illegal and premeditated.
