Registration and packet pickup will begin at 8 a.m. Race will begin at 9 a.m. followed by awards and festivities at 10:30 a.m. Entry for one person is $30 for early registration and $40 for registering on or after May 10.

Early registration for a four-person team is $25 per person or $35 each on or after May 10.

A registration table will be set up in the Victoria Mall Food Court from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday for anyone who wants to register early or for more information.

Proceeds will help send a seven-member team from Victoria to Zambia, Africa, in July. The Zambia Medical Mission provides medical care to children, women and men once a year.

The Victoria team is part of a larger group from all over the United States who provide medical, dental and vision care to some of the poorest villages in Zambia, Africa.

This two-week mission trip served about 14,000 people last summer. Support will help ensure the mission is a success.

Sponsorship are also available.

This organization has provided health care to Zambia since 1995. Most of the villages do not have running water or electricity. It is not unusual to set up a clinic and have 5,000 people waiting to be seen, many having walked 30 to 50 miles to seek help. The clinic provides medical care, HIV testing, dental, vision, wheelchairs, medications, clean birthing kits and more.
