Kalaba predicts PF victory

MINISTER of Foreign Affairs Harry Kalaba says the Patriotic Front (PF) will win the 2016 general elections because Zambians have trust and confidence in President Sata’s administration.

Mr Kalaba said he is happy that the PF still has the support of the majority of Zambians to enable it retain power in 2016.
Mr Kalaba, who is also Bahati Member of Parliament, said in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that Zambians have started seeing the fruits of electing the PF into Government because the ruling party is determined to deliver on its campaign promises. “I am very happy with the levels of development projects taking place not only in Bahati but across the country.
“When we were campaigning in 2011, we promised the people of Zambia that we will deliver and this is just what we are doing.
I think no amount of magic or witchcraft can make the opposition to win the 2016 general elections because we are doing well as a party,” he said.
Mr Kalaba said the PF under President Sata’s leadership is offering selfless service to the people and assured that PF will not disappoint Zambians but will deliver on all its campaign promises.
The minister appealed to Zambians not to lose hope because the PF will deliver on all its promises.
And Government has released K427, 000 for the construction of a one by three classroom block in Musendeka area in Bahati constituency.
Mr Kalaba said the people of Musendeka are happy that Government has continued to attach great importance to improving their wellbeing.
“Our people in Musendeka are happy with what the Government is doing in the area because it has started delivering meaningful development projects such as schools and clinics.
“The government is also working on improving feeder roads to enable people have smooth transportation of goods and services. We want people to have access to the markets to sell their merchandise,” he said.
Mr Kalaba urged Zambians to continue supporting President Sata as he continues to initiate and implement development projects aimed at improving their welfare.
