Sports administrator Simata Simata has appealed against the Life ban slapped on him by the Football Association of Zambia FAZ.
In his appeal, Simata wants the appeals committee to quash the life ban.
Simata contends that the allegations that he issued disparaging remarks against FAZ were untrue.
Simata who sued FAZ for defamation also argued that he has a constitution right to sue.
The FAZ Appeals Committee is expected to hear the appeal in 30 days.
Simata has confirmed this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka on Tuesday.
FAZ slapped a life ban on Simata for allegedly issuing disparaging remarks against the football Association and for dragging the association to court.
