Let the people judge PF in 2016 -Kabimba

PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba says the Zambian people will reject the ruling party in 2016 if the party is not available to the needs and issues affecting the people.

Mr. Kabimba who is also Justice Minister said PF members should work hard at ensuring that the party fulfills all it campaign promises of improving the lives of the Zambia people.

He says the party should continue being the voice of the poor in society.

The party Secretary General called for party mobilization saying this was the only way it could inspire and invite new members.

Mr Kabimba was speaking in CHOMA on Sunday during a meeting with party members.

And speaking at the function Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe who is also PF provincial chairperson urged PF members not to put their faith in individuals but the party.

Meanwhile, the Opposition UPND says it will not be drawn into debating which political party or political leader is most popular in the country.

UPND Deputy Spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo says his party is positive that the results of the 2016 will tell the whole story.

Mr. Lifwekelo says UPND is currently planning on how best to approach the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.

This is according to a statement made available to ZNBC News in Lusaka.

On Sunday, Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba says UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema needs 50 years to catch up with President Micheal Sata’s popularity in the country.
