Zambia Under 20 national soccer team manager Daniel Jere is happy with the way the players were responding to the training in preparation for the Senegal 2015 under 20 Africa cup qualifying games.

The under 20 players are currently in camp.

Jere said the morale in camp was high and all the players were responding positively during the training sessions.

He was speaking in an interview with ZANIS Sports shortly after today’s morning training session at the Olympic Youth Development Center (OYDC) in Lusaka.

Jere expressed happiness that all the 45 players that were called for camp by Assistant coach Bilton Musonda reported on Sunday at the FAZ technical center in Lusaka.

Meanwhile, ZANACO defender Timothy Sakala and Kabwe Warriors Midfielder Godfrey Ngwenya, who are part of the team, watched the training session in terraces due to injuries.

Both players picked up injuries during the FAZ/MTN week two super league games last week on Wednesday.

Zambia Under-20 national team is on bye for the Senegal 2015 first round qualifying games and will only play in the second round with either Namibia or Mozambique in May.
