Government commended for reinstating nurses

OSF Executive Director Sunday Chanda observes that the earlier decision to
fire the nurses had negatively impacted on the common Zambian, the nurses and their families and the common Zambian.

Mr. Chanda notes that it is undeniable that the decision to fire the nurses compromised and further weakened an already fragile healthcare system.

He says Zambians can only hope that Government regrets its earlier decision
and take lessons from its harsh consequences.

Meanwhile Mr Chanda says his organization believes that it is not impossible for the government to agree and act in tandem with the rest of society on the
demands and need for a new constitution.
