The electorate in Magoye Constituency of Mazabuka district are angry with what they termed as lack of proper representation in parliament by their area Member of Parliament Oliver Mulomba.

The residents told ZANIS in Mazabuka on March 15th that they are not happy with their Mr. Mulomba whom they accused of failing to address the water problem in the township.

The residents who claimed anonymity said they are particularly angered with remarks attributed to Mulomba who said that he has intentions of standing on the Patriotic Front-PF ticket in 2016.

They charged that they are ready to discard him come 2016 because he has remained mute in parliament while his colleagues are busy talking about the plight of their constituencies.

The electorate are surprised that even the recently elected MP for Katuba Constituency has already made a mark in Parliament addressing issues affecting his people while the Magoye MP is dumb founded.

Mulomba is said to have joked to Deputy Minister in the office of the Vice President Davies Mwango of having intentions to stand on the PF ticket in 2016 because of the ruling party’s performance the few years it has been in power.

Efforts to contact Mr. Mulomba failed as his mobile phone was unreachable.
