KATUBA : Shakafuswa’s daughter accused of distributing money

Shakafuswa’s daughter accused of dishing out cash to voters as Katuba polls start on a low note

Northern Province Minister Freedom Sikazwe has accused UPND candidate in the Katuba by election Jonas Shakafuswa’s daughter, Precious of distributing money to voters at Kabangwe Poling station on behalf of the UPND.

The visibly annoyed Mr. Sikazwe alleged that Precious Shakafuswa was spotted at the polling station by PF members distributing money to cadres.

He also alleged that Precious was also collecting voters cards from voters.

Mr Sikazwe has vowed that the PF will not allow anyone to rig the election.

But UPND Moomba MP Vitalis Mooya described the accusation as sad.

He wondered where Mr Sikazwe got the information that Precious was distributing money at the polling station.

However voting has started on a low note in Katuba where people are voting for an MP following the death Patrick Chikusu.
