Nkana Football Club on Saturday rallied to beat Red Arrows 3-1 to lift the season-opening 2014 Charity Shield crown.

Red Arrows took a lead into half time through Adubelo Phiri until second half when Simon Bwalya hit back with a brace to seal Nkana’s comeback win at Arthur Davies stadium in Kitwe.
Bwalya equalised for Nkana in the 54th minute just nine minutes after coming on before adding his second goal in the 77th minute.
Red Arrows suffered a setback in the 84th minute when defender Joseph Zimba was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Nkana wrapped up their dramatic win in stoppage time when Evans Kangwa headed in his sides a third goal.
Meanwhile, Nkana’s Charity Shield win was their first since 2000 and comes just four months after lifting their FAZ Super Division title since 2001.
