Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has appealed to President Micheal Sata to avoid dramatizing national issues.

Reverend Mwanza has told Qfm News in a telephone interview that President Sata’s mocking remarks on the constitution are unfair and unacceptable.

Reverend Mwanza says it is unfortunate that certain remarks the President is making with regards the constitution are not helping in finding a solution.

He says there is need for President Sata to show leadership on the constitution and give the nation hope.

And the Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) says it is disheartening that president Micheal Sata has found pleasure in mocking Zambians over the constitution.

FDD Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza has told Qfm News that from the way President Sata has been coming out on the constitution it is clear that he is finding pleasure in mocking the Zambian people.

Mr. Mwanza adds that it is also clear that the Head of State is deliberately provoking Zambians because he knows very well that the current constitution does not represent the will of the people.

He reminds President Sata that he is in State House on contract with the Zambian people which is subject to review based on their assessment of his performance
