Zambian defender Stopilla Sunzu has been voted Sochaux’s best player for January.
Sunzu has started and finished all the five competitive games since joining the french league early January.
He capped his first four weeks at the bottom league 1 club with a goal in Sochaux’s 1-0 win over 8th positioned Nantes on February 1.
According to MTN football.com and monitored by ZANIS Sports, Sunzu he has been voted the best player with 26.2 percent and was followed by his closest rival Sebastien Corchia at 23.7 percent.
On the third position was Ghanian striker Jordan Ayew with 13.4percent this was stated at Sochaux website.
The Zambian player has played in all the games since he joined the club winter transfer window and will receive his month award on the 15th this month.
Sunzu joined Sochaux in January on a three deal from DR Congo side TP Mazembe for a reported fee of Euros 1million.
