The Lusaka City Council (LCC) has disclosed that construction of public toilets in the Lusaka central business district is in process well.
LCC Acting Public Relations Manager, Habeenzu Mulunda, said the construction of the toilets is almost done.

Mr Mulunda confirmed the development in a telephone interview with ZANIS today in Lusaka.

He said that one of the toilets is 99 per cent done while the other one is underway and will be completed soon.

Mr Mulunda said the only thing remaining is the connecting of the toilets to the main sewer system and also connecting water supply system.

He said that the process has been delayed because of a stone on the site which took long to be removed.

Mr Mulunda disclosed that two more toilets are expected to be constructed as soon as space is made available.
