ADD Leader Charles Milupi has told Qfm news in a telephone interview that avoiding telling the nation how much money is being saved from the removal of subsidies on fuel and maize is not gratifying.
Mr. Milupi notes that the fact that the money is being used elsewhere does not mean that it has not been saved for a specific purpose
He notes that it is unfortunate that the Finance Minister is evading giving information to the nation and most importantly those that supported the lifting of subsidies.
He notes that by stating that government is not saving any money from removal of subsidies on fuel and maize is not wise enough.
The opposition leader says Mr. Chikwanda should have instead remained mute instead of giving a comment as the issue of subsidies is a serious matter which concerns the people of Zambia.
