Opposition Christian Democratic Party (CDP) has charged that formulation of an alliance among political parties does not mean that there is guarantee to win an election.

CDP Leader Daniel Pule has also opposed the Leadership of the announced alliance by the MMD, ABZ, ZED and PP saying that he sees no logic for new political parties to lead an alliance when they lack experience.

Dr. Pule who is also Dunamis Church pastor says this is because it is not expected that new political parties can be on the same level with the already established political parties.

The opposition leader has observed that the announced opposition alliance will not succeed in its motives if no wider consultation is conducted.

He further points out that appointing former Prime Minister Malimba Masheke as Chairman of the Alliance is also wrong because the Gen. Masheke is retired and deserves to rest.

And the CDP Leader is of the view that the MMD leader Nevers Mumba takes the leads because his party is well established and has almost forty Members of Parliament who can be able to draw the masses closes thereby gaining votes.
