Jacob Mulenga and Zesco United’s Kondwani Mtonga ruled out of Zambia’s November 14 friendly against Egypt in Cairo.

And Nkana striker Reynold Kampamba has been recalled to the team after he was earlier overlooked for the trip.
Zambia coach Patrice Beaumelle said it was sad that Jacob and Kondwani will not make Tuesday’s trip to Cairo.
“Two days ago I spoke with Jacob Mulenga, he is injured, he played only 12 minutes on Saturday for Utrecht and then he was feeling pain,” Beaumelle said.
“So we did not want to take the risk. He has gone to the hospital this morning.”
Kondwani on the other hand will miss the game after sustaining an injury in Zesco’s 3-2 home win over Zanaco on Saturday.
“Kondwani came back yesterday from the Copperbelt and he is feeling pain so he will be out for some days so that he receives some treatment. He won’t travel with us,” Beaumelle said.
Meanwhile, Kampamba replaces Jacob and returns after earlier coming on as a substitute in Zambia’s 1-0 friendly loss away to Jordan  on November 6 played in Doha.
“I saw Ronald against Jordan. He will get the opportunity to show us what he can do,” the Frenchman said.
Kampamba currently leads the MTN/FAZ Super Division top scorers chart with 15 goals from 29 games played this season.
