President Michael Sata has today sworn-in Lawrence Evans as deputy minister of tourism and arts and Wamunyima Muwana as Lusaka province permanent secretary respectively.

President Sata has congratulated the duo as they take up their new appointments.

And speaking to journalists shortly after being sworn-in this morning, Mr. Evans says he is humbled by President Sata’s for appointing him as deputy minister in the ministry of Tourism.

He says he will work to his level best and ensure that the tourism sector continues to flourish and attract more tourists.

Mr. Lawrence is PF Livingstone Member of Parliament.

And newly appointed Lusaka province permanent secretary Wamunyima Muwana says He is ready for the new challenge in his new role.
