KINGS Mumbi of the “Malembe Malembe” fame last Friday thrilled members of the business community in Kabwe during the annual Kabwe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCC) gala dinner.
The well attended event saw Kings light up Kabwe’s Tuskers Hotel, much to the delight of senior government officials among them Central Province permanent secretary Edwidge Mutale and her Transport and Communication counterpart Charity Ngoma, businesswomen and men, including civic leaders.
There was excitement when master of ceremonies Lloyd Mbewe announced the arrival of the sensational gospel.
It being a business event, Kings carefully selected his songs which he rearranged to suit the occasion.
They were songs of glorifying God for his grace and blessings upon his creation.
The music was simply soothing to the soul.
Kings creatively rejigged his lyrics to encourage entrepreneurs that gathered at Tuskers Hotel that God’s favour was upon their businesses.
