Reasons why Kabimba must resign – Former Lusaka PF chairman

Mr. Chama has told Qfm news in an interview that Mr. Kabimba should step down because he has not performed to the expectations of the party membership.

Mr. Chama says Mr. Kabimba is being stubborn by stating the he can only resign if the president tells him to do so.

He stresses that it is not president Sata to tell him to resign but the people who put him in office.

Mr.Chama explains that Mr. Kabimba has betrayed many of the party members and has abandoned the party secretariat since the Patriotic Front won the elections in 2011.

He has since advised Mr. Kabimba to step down honorably than wait to be fired by President Sata.

And Chief Chimbuka of Chinsali District in Muchinga Province has challenged Patriotic Front PF Secretary General Winter Kabimba to make public the motive behind his opposition to President Michael Sata’s candidature for 2016.

Chief Chimbuka says Mr. Kabimba seems to have a hidden agenda hence the need for him to come out in the open.

The Traditional Leader has accused Mr. Kabimba of not having faith in President Sata.

Chief Chimbuka has since called on the PF leadership to consider removing Mr. Kabimba from his powerful position of party Chief Executive officer.
