Mtendere, Kalingalinga roads to have speed humps

——–Mutendere Ward 30 Councillor, Benjamin Chanda, has appealed to   residents in the area to be patient with the contractor engaged in road construction works in the area.

 

Councillor Chanda particularly assured Mtendere and Kalingalinga residents that the contractor would soon be on site to put up speed humps on newly rehabilitated roads.

 

He noted that the people of the two townships have been crying for the humps on the roads, saying over-speeding motorists have caused a lot of accidents resulting in the loss of lives in the two townships.

 

He told ZANIS in an interview in Lusaka today that Plinth Technical Works Limited will be on site to put up the much-talked road humps in order to reduce accidents.

 

And councillor Chanda has praised the company for good workmanship exhibited on the roads constructed so far.

 

The councillor also appealed to the residents to look after the infrastructure well if it was stand a test of time.

 

He said the Patriotic Front (PF) Government is there to work for the Zambian people in order to uplift their living standards.
