After two weeks of recess, the Football Association of Zambia FAZ/MTN Super league this weekend resumes action with explosive week twelve encounters.

The FAZ/MTN league was on recess following the senior national team’s engagements in the two world cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Sudan.

ZANIS Sports reports that newly appointed Power Dynamos Coach Tenant Chilumba will have to prove to fans and the sponsors, the Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC), that he is the suitable person for the job when his side plays Konkola Mine Police in Chililabombwe.

Chilumba was recently appointed Power Dynamos coach after the dismissal of Beston Chambeshi and his three assistants Hector Chilombo, John Munkonje and Goalkeepers’ coach Martin Mwamba who has however since been reinstated.

And Hector Chilombo, who has been reinstated by Forest Rangers, the club he ditched in the middle of last season to join Power, will have to remain focused and help the team survive relegation when they host Napsa Stars at Dola Hill Ground in Ndola.

Other games will see league leaders Nkana hosting Konkola Blades at Nkana stadium in Kitwe, while Kalulushi Modern Stars takes on Stylish Roan United.

Lime Hotspurs will take on Zesco United and the Fighton Simukonda drilled side, brave Nchanga Rangers host the Zambia Railways (ZR) sponsored side, magnificent Kabwe Warriors at Nchanga stadium in Chingola.

In Lusaka, sensational Zanaco will host high Flying Nkwazi at Sunset stadium while Green Buffaloes will play Red Arrows.
